Ballins Hotels. Ltd.. Christchurch, plans to split the carrent £ 1 shares into 5s units and to make an issue at par in the ratio of seven-for--23. Authorised capita! is to be raised from £115.000 to £500,000. The present share* which will be known as A shares after they are split into 5s units, and the new shares, will continue to carry the 5 per cent, dividend guarantee by Ballins Industries, Ud. The issue will raise paid capital to £ 150.000 from £115.000 The £ 1 shares sold in Christchurch on Wednesday at 38s, compared with 36the previous week and 32s 6d in March.
