Waipari. will run a great race in tihe £lO.OOO Stradbroke Handicap, seven furlongs, at Eagle Farm tomorrow (at 4.40 p.m. New Zealand time). Wickliff is counting on Waipari's finishing run. which carried him into fourth place in the John CantyStakes at Bundamba last Saturday. All this week Waipari has worked well. He has toyed with his stablemate. Royal Filou. Punters have kept him solidly in the market in spite of his 22 barrier draw. Roy-al Filou is at an outside quote and is not regarded seriously except by Wickltff This will be W’aipari’s second run in two months, and some experts think the New Zealand horse will not be sol'd enough for the tough sprint. .
