Kindergarten Staffing
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 26. Because of an unexpected reverse in staffing the Minister of Education (Mr Tennent) has postponed announcing any new kindergarten projects until later in the year. This was said by Miss M. F. Gallagher, supervisor of pre-school services for the Education Department, who is in Auckland today on a tour of duty. Miss Gallagher said that the Minister usually anannounced the new projects in April, but would now wait until September in the hope that young married women and others could be encouraged back into the work.
