CONCERT BY CHILDREN
Templeton Hospital Patients On Thursday evening the children of Templeton Hospital and Training School presented a concert to friends and • well-wishers in the attractive modern hall of the community centre at the hospital. The concert took the form of “A Trip Around the World in 80 Days,” a representative item being given at each of the many ports of call. The stage setting represented the promenade deck of a luxury cruise liner. The audience was impressed by the standard of excellence attained by the performers. This was a tribute to the producer. Mrs M. C. Alexander, and her assistants, who included Mrs Winchester and several members of the hospital staff. At the end of the concert. Mr D. C. Taylor, president of the hospital welfare council, presented to the hospital a tape recorder. This will be used for patient training and recreational purposes.
