SYDNEY STOCK MARKET
Weaker Tendency Seen (N .-Reuttr—CopyrigM) SYDNEY, May 26. After a series of steady rises, the Sydney share market has again tended to weaken, according to the Sydney Stock Exchange's weekly review. The ordinary share price index rose 4.26 points to 306.04 on Tuesday after reaching 307.18 on Monday. The market continued to ease on Wednesday. The present level of the index is the highest recorded since early last November, before the imposition of credit restrictions. Leading stories recorded the best gains and most second rank stocks were only a shade firmer.
