WORLD BANK PROPOSAL
Protest By Social Credit
A “strong protest” will be made by the Canterbury regional executive of the Social Credit Political League against any move by the Government to join the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. This was decided at the annual meeting of the executive this week. In his annual report, the president (Mr H. Parker' congratulated branches on their work in having the league's newspaper. the “New Zealand Guardian,” distributed to nearly every house in the area. The following officers were elected: President. Mr Parker: vice • presidents, Messrs J. Barclay. F. H. Taylor and W. Green; secretary, Mr E. R. D’Anvers; publicity officers, Messrs J. Forster and D’Anvers.
