The Gezette toued tonight publishes an order which extend* mMst-favoured-nation treatment to the Union of South Africa after May 31. 1961, except that special rates are specified for certain goods in order to give continued effect to the arrangement made with South Africa in 1947 under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. The list of goods on which there are special rates is as follows: Fish, viz: (3) fish, potted, and preserved, n.e.i., including any liquor, oil, or sauce. lld per lb. Fruits, dried viz: (2) raisins free (4) n.e.i. free. Fruits, fresh viz: Ex (2) aprico's, grapes, nectarines free Ex (5) oranges free. Wine containing not more than 40 per cent, of proof spirit viz: (1) Sparkling, all kinds: per gallon, or for six reputed quart bottles, or the reputed equivalent in bottles of a larger or smaller reputed capacity, 14s 3d.
<2) Other kinds: per gallon. or for six reputed quart bottles, or the reputed equivalent in bottles of a larger or smaller reputed capacity. 8s 3d.
Ostrich feathers, 15 per cent.
