Technical Training Week
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 22. The Duke of Edinburgh and the Governor-General (Viscount Cobham) will speak over the National Broadcasting Service on Sunday to start the Commonwealth technical training week. The Duke will speak for four minutes at 12.33 p.m and the Governor-General is expected to make a broadcast in “Point of View” on Sunday evening. His Excellency will receive the New Zealand Council for Technical Education on Tuesday, May 30, at noon and a group of trainees in various fields at 2 p.m. On Thursday morning. Lord Cobham will visit the Central Technical College. Petone.
