ADMISSION TO U.N.
Mr Nash On China
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 18. “Nothing could be more certain to lead to world conflict than if we say that Communist China should never be admitted to the United Nations,” the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nash) said at the Wellington Optimists' Club today. He hoped that President Kennedy would change his mind about this, Mr Nash said. “I think he might. He has done a good job so far, even with his mistake over Cuba Others have made bigger mistakes, and he has come out and admitted.”
