CANTERBURY AERO CLUB
Busy Month For Apache
The Canterbury Aero Club s twin-engined Apache last month had its busiest period since it arrived at Harewood last year, says a report by the club's executive. The Apache made at least one commercial charter trip a day and made 12 trips to Nelson. The chief instructor 'Mr H. G. Gunderson) said that there was nearly a scheduled service operating to Nelson at present. The executive’s report said that the addition of a Piper Cub trainer to the club’s fleet last month was in furtherance of the policy to provide the most modem and safest of training aircraft.
