Big Parade In Invercargill

At the winter championship show of the Southland Kennel Association, held recently at Invercargill, 104 dogs were entered and the judge was Mr I. W. Muncaster, of Auckland. The best in the show was Mrs E. J. Clarke's boxer. Ch. Leinster Dirk. The runner-up was Mrs G. E. Davidson's Pekingese, Toy Shan Kai Lin, which was also the best limit dog in the show. Best opposite sex was F. H. and Mrs West's golden cocker spaniel. Ch. Red Shoes of Inverlock, and the best pup was A. M. and Mrs Morrison’s German shepherd. Angelique von Freude. Results were:— Pugs: F. H. and Mrs West's Scarborough Smiley, challenge and best of breed. Fox Terrier: N. C. and Mrs Tasker’s Matal Matador, best terrier, challenge, first terrier open, second stud dog. Shetland Sheepdogs: D. Brown's GenessaJ of Greenbriars, challenge, best opposite non-sporting, first gentlemen’s stake. German Shepherd: A. M. and Mrs Morrison’s Ch. Everley’s Blbola of Timbermill. best of breed. Challenge, third nonsporting open, third grand challenge: Angelique von Freude, challenge, first non-sporting puppy, first grand puppy. Doberman: Brown and Cummings’s Bulugha Stormtint Pearl, challenge, second nonsporting puppy, first nursery puppy. Samoyed: H. R. and Mrs Alford’s Ch. Kalina Wanderer, challenge. Dachshunds (miniature): Mrs E. Slade's Fern Minlola. challenge. Dachshunds: N.
