Obituary MR L. J. JEFFS
Mr L. J. Jeffs, a wellknown Christchurch public accountant and taxation specialist, died suddenly on Tuesday evening. He was 53. Mr Jeffs had practised on his own account in Christchurch since 1946. Before this he had been in partnership. Before World War 11, Mr Jeffs worked for the Public Trust Office, the New Zealand Farmers' Co-op.. Ford Motors, and Sims Cooper and Company. During World War 11. Mr Jeffs served in the Pacific Islands. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge and at the time pt his death was provincial grand treasurer of the Masonic Provincial Grand Lodge. He is survived by his wife.
