Sir. —Three things we must know —whence we came, where we are going and before whom we must all one day pay our account. Schooling in many cases among the young people is an unpaid nuisance, to be easily got and easily forgotten. Don't blame the young people for the emptiness of their lives. Take a good look at the grown-ups first Blown by the wind, bewildered and without direction or purpose other than possession of material wealth and the satisfaction of appetite. I. a town girl by upbringing, after 20 years of marriage, am still daily astounded by the practical ability and down-to-earth common sense of my countryborn hurtrand and thank God daily that I am lucky enough to bring up my children in the eountrv.—Yours, etc..
