Car In Quicksands The Muriwai Beach quicksands have swallowed up yet another car. A driver made a turn in the wrong direction on Saturday on the remote Rangiatea Beach, 30 miles from Muriwai, and he and his three companions had to stand by helplessly while the car sank into the sand. Control Of Fishing In a bid for more unified control of fresh-water fishing, the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Gotz) will move to have the scientific control of fresh-water fishing transferred from the Marine Department to Internal Affairs. He announced this in Auckland yesterday to a deputation from the New Zealand Angling and Casting Association, which pressed for the Minister’s support in its plan to improve fresh-water fishing throughout the country. —(PA.) Graduation Parade Four pilots, five navigators and two signallers of No. 32 aircrew courses will receive their wings and brevets from the assistant Chief of Air Staff (Air Commodore R. J.
