SETTLEMENT REACHED
Publicity Body Claim
Settlement has been reached out of Court in the dispute between the New Zealand Travel and Holidays' Association and the South Island Publicity Association with the national body agreeing to pay the South Island association £l5OO and 5 per cent, interest, and a proportion of the costs of negotiations.
Mr L. Christie, the president of the South Island body, said yesterday- that the sum represented part of the money paid to the national organisation before the orga nisations - lit last April A claim was lodged in the Supreme Court for £2200 but durine the annual conference of the South Island association last weekend it had been agreed that the settlement should be approved.
