BURIED ALIVE IN DEBRIS
Worker Survives Ordeal (N.Z P.A .-Reuter— Copyright) CHICAGO, March 17. A 34>-year-old demolition worker was dragged alive and conscious today from the rubble of a collapsed building where he had lain for nearly 20 hours. However, rescuers abandoned hope for two other men who were entombed with William McCoy in the falling debris of a former sausage factory which caved in yesterday while being demolished. Fourteen other workers were injured in the collapse. McCoy was rushed to hospital.
