CONTEST WITH OTAGO
Canterbury Side Selected Twelve Canterbury plavers have been selected for a golf team to play matches with Otago representatives at Timaru on April 8 and 9. R. C. Murray, the Russley player, has been named as captain of the Canterbury side. The other players are: R. K. Atkinson (Russley), J. R. Broadhurst (Russley). K. D. Foxton (Russley). A. W. Robinson (Christchurch), D. A Stevens (Russley). A. Browne (Ashburton), R, E. Clements (Waitikiri), I. S. Harvev (Timaru), E. H. M. Richards (Russley), D. M? Robertson (Timaru). G. P. Vesty (Timaru). The team was announced yesterday by the selectors, Messrs C. J. Ward. W. D. Armstrong. and J. O’Gorman.
