Full-Time Work At Fords

Fords emphasised a revival in the fortunes of the British car industry today by announcing the immediate resumption of full-time working for all employees. Next week, for the first time since last November, a full five-day working week will operate at all Ford factories in Britain,
The management’s decision came after a “further improvement' in the passenger car trading position.” Similar action has been taken by other British motor firms.
