Wool Firm At Brisbane

Press Asm.—Copyright) BRISBANE, February 20 Values at the opening of the Brisbane wool sales today generally rose 5 per cent, higher than at the January Brisbane sale to reach their best level here this season and their highest point since last May. - Japan dominated competition for fleece wools and the Continent bought strongly in the skirtings section. Russian buying was moderately strong and the United Kingdom showed interest.
