Notifiable Disease*.—Twelve cases -of notifiable diseases were notified in' the Christchurch health district last week. They ineluded 10 of infective hepatitis and one each of tuberculosis and leptospirosis. Leptospirosis is a disease fairly widely endemic among rats, pigs, and other animals: the patient in this case is an abattoir worker.
