Adenauer Has Paris Talks
PARIS, February 9.
The West German Chancellor (Dr. Konrad Adenauer) arrived in Paris today for talks with President de Gaulle. The talks are a preliminary to a “European summit” meeting beginning in Paris tomorrow. when leaders of the six Common Market nations are to discuss the French President’s plan for European political unity and Europe’s trade problems.
According to Bonn reports, Dr. Adenauer wants to convince General de Gaulle of the need to associate Britain with the Common Market.
