CHAMPIONSHIP CANDIDATE

Three Aces Due This Week The South Australian pacer. Three Aces, is expected to arrive in Christchurch later this week to complete his preparation for the Inter-Dominion Championship series at Addington next month.

Three Aces left Sydney last Friday for Auckland. He is Australia's first representative to come to New Zealand for the series.

Three Aces, the winner of two races at Harold Park last season, will be an Inter-Dominion outsider, but his trainer, Dan Egan, considers the horse will excel himself on the roomy Addington track.

Egan plans to start Three Aces in special Inter-Dominion trials at Addington on January 31. The pacer will not race in New Zealand before these trials.
