REFORMS IN ALGERIA
More Positions For Moslems (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) PARIS, December 27. President de Gaulle’s Cabinet today adopted measures for decentralising Government in Algeria and putting more Modems in responsible posts, American Associated Press said. The action, a prelude to General de Gaulle's plan for autonomous government in Algeria after the January 8 referendum, involved these main reforms. The creation of 32 new administrative posts in various regions of the territory. The appointment of 11 Moslems as deputy-governors in Algeria's various counties. Six new posts as technical councillors. Two are for each of the three main administrative areas Oran, Algiers, anS Constantine. Fifteen new posts as heads of missions under the three super - governors in these regions. Universal suffrage is the government of a house bv its nursery.— Otto von Bismarck. The American public consumes well over a billion eggs a week.
