Increase Of 107 P.C. Over 1959 (N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE, December 30. L. J. Hooker, Ltd., real estate subsidiary of L. J. Hooker Investment Corporation, Ltd., report sales for 1960 of £ 54.5 m—a record and increase of 107 per cent, over 1959. Sales in Victoria for 1960 exceeded £ 4.25 m, The company says the real estate market generally remained firm during 1960. The government’s financial moves had practically no effect on the volume of real estate trading or on prices of property.
