JEWS OUTSIDE ISRAEL
“Indictment” By Ben-Gurion NEW YORK, December 30. An American Jewish leader has declared that the “wholesale indictment” by the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr David Ben-Gurion, of all Jews who live outside of Israel “must and will be completely and unequivocally rejected by the Jewish community.” The president of the American Jewish Congress and rabbi of Temple B-nai Abraham in Newark, New Jersey, Dr Joachim Prinz, made his statement yesterday in commenting on Mr Ben-Gurion’s address to the twenty-fifth Zionist Congress in Jerusalem earlier this week. In that address the Israel Prime Minister claimed that Jews who lived outside Israel were godless and violated the precepts of Judaism every day they remained outside Israel.
