TRIPP SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The John Mowbray Howard Tripp Scholarship for Canterbury Agricultural College has been awarded jointly to K. C. Boughton, of Kaikoura, and E. C. Bowis, of Rakaia, for 1961. The award to Boughton is tenable for the diploma in valuation and the farm management course and to Bowis for the first year of the diploma course. For 1962, it has been jointly awarded to E. C. Bowis for the second year of the diploma course and to D. J. Martin, of Waimate, for the first year of the diploma course. '

The Tripp scholarship is available every second year to girls or boys who have been pupils of any secondary school in the provincial district of Canterbury for at least three years, and who have had at least two years’ practical experience at a farm or station. Its value is £lOO.
