BRITISH TEAMS LOSE FOURS

All Six Games Won By Palmerston North (New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NTH., Dec. 27. Palmerston North bowlers had a runaway victory over the visiting British Isles teams in the match at the Hokowhitu greens, Palmerston North, today. Though scores were close in two particularly even tussles, the home teams won all six games. The British bowlers said they found the greens faster than those at home, but nevertheless thoroughly enjoyed playing on such a surface. The closest of the games was between the British team of Rose, Wilson, Daniel, and Taylor, and the Palmerston North players, Gordan, Stafford, Langford, and Davis. Results (with Palmerston North skips named first) are:—Lambie 22, Carswell 16; Arnott 26, Gerrand 16; Davis 19, Taylor 18; Vibert 38, Elliott 7; Yeates 39, Procter 12; Tarrant 19, John 17.
