Gold Theft At Airport
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) PARIS, December 8. French police today arrested a baggage porter at Orly Airport, near Paris, and charged him with stealing a package of 561 b of gold ingots last night. Later, polite detained a second man at Orly. The gold, worth about £9OOO, vanished after it arrived by plane from London and was placed on an airport trolley to be taken to the airport safe deposit. It was bound for Vientiane. Laos, said British United Press.
