W.F.T.U. Supports Indonesia (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) PRAGUE, Dec. 8. Dutch New Guinea was an integral part of Indonesia, the World Federation of Trade Unions said in a statement today. The federation, whose headquarters are in Prague, condemned “the brutal oppression and th,e clumsy manoeuvres of the Dutch colonialists and American imperialists’’ in'Dutch New Guinea, the Czechoslovak news agency, Ceteka, reported. The statement said the federation was trying to have West New Guinea internationalised, or placed under United Nations Trusteeship. The federation, which claims to represent 101 million workers, expresses the hope that the world’s workers and trade unions would give increased support to Indonesia’ “anti - colonialist struggle.”
