TRAIN AND GAS TRUCK COLLIDE
Six Dead, More Than 26 Hurt In Fire (N.Z. Pres, Association— Copyright) NASHUA (New Hampshire), December 7. A crowded one-coach diesel train and a loaded bottled gas truck collided at a level crossing today, touching off an explosion and fire that killed six persons and injured more than 26. American Asseciated Press reported. The dead included the truck driver, his wife, and their two small children. Bits of the tMick. loaded with cylinders of gas used by householders for cooking, were blown in all directions. The resulting blaze spread into the train, which carried about 40 passengers They fled .in panic as flames swept the interior of the carriage.
