“This year has been an eventful one in the history of St. Margaret’s College, for it has witnessed the establishment and consolidation of the school on its new site and also seen it launched into its second half-century.” said the headmistress (Miss J. P. Crosher) in her report at the school prize-giving last evening. . “It has, inevitably, been a period of adjustment and experiment, but. productive, it is hoped, of much good for the future. The lessons we have learned in 1960 will determine the pattern of our life in the years ahead and should enable us to make the most effective use of our beautiful new buildings and surroundings,” Miss Crosher said.
