CABINET OF KENNEDY
Meeting With . Stevenson WASHINGTON, December 8. The United States Presidentelect, Mr Kennedy, today has called on Mr Adlai Stevenson. Their meeting came as Mr Kennedy gradually built his new United States Administration to lead the Western world. There was rising speculation that the, former Democratic Presidential candidate had been offered and had accepted the post of chief United States delegate at the United Nations. The news of the meeting came last night shortly before the Presi-dent-elect flew back to Washington from a 24-hour visit to New York. The Chicago “Sunday-Times” said today that it would be “authoritatively reported” that the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Senator J. W. Fulbright, would be named by Mr Kennedy as Secretary of State.
