ALLCOMERS’ RACES
Wins For Finito And Salaam Thirty yachts started yesterday in the second all-comers' race at Kairaki during the week-end. They included 10 Olympic Finns. 13 R-class craft, and a smattering of less popular types. The conditions were ideal for the Finns, which filled first, third, fifth, sixth, seventh, ninth and tenth placings. The official results after a Mark Foy start, were: Finito (A. Burgess), 6min, 2:47.43, 1; Tantrum (R. Sedgley). 7min. 2:49 38. 2: Dorsal (C. Vincent), 7min, 2:49.50. 3. The first all-comers’ open race on Saturday, sailed under similar conditions but with the wind stronger, resulted as follows: Salaam (P. Mander). 3:0.31, 1; Finrua (A. Ballinton). 3:2.46, 2; Elfin (W. Beere), 3:3.16. 3.
