Soccer Suburbs-Team To Go To New Caledonia
(New . Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 20. Auckland’s Eastern Suburbs Soccer Club, baulked of a tour to Australia next year by the World Soccer Federation’s ban on the Australian Association, will tour New Caledonia next month for 10 days and Will play two matches against a New Caledonian representative side. The’ team leaves Auckland by air for Noumea on December 10 and returns on December 22. Matches have been arranged against New Caledonia on the Sundays, December 11 arid 18, at Noumea. Suburbs' visit will be the first overseas visit by a New Zealand club since World War 11, and it has the backing of the New Zealand Football Association.
