MEETING OF F.A.O. COUNCIL
N.Z. To Be Represented' In Rome (New Zealand Press Association! WELLINGTON, Oct 13. New Zealand is to be represented at the meeting of the council of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations at Rome, which begins on October 17, by Mr P. Smallfield, Director-General of Agriculture. He will go on to London to lead the delegation at the November talks there on agricultural production and marketing policies. Mr Smallfield will be joined in Rome by Mr L Stewart, a Department of External Affairs officer from New Zealand’s Paris Embassy. For the London talks. Mr Smallfield will be joined by officers from the New Zealand High Commissioner's Office in London and representatives of New Zealand producer boards.
These arrangements were officially announced today.
