CHURCH RADIO BROADCASTS
Listener Appeal To Be Assessed (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 13. Six hundred homes in the Mount Eden, Mount Roskill and Onehunga districts of Auckland have been Chosen for a survey to assess the listener appeal of religious radio broadcast. For the first time the combined Churches of Auckland and the New Zealand Broadcasting Service have combined to take a listener research survey. During the next week, 60 canvassers will cover the area, asking questions. The scheme is part of a new approach to broadcasting by the churches in art endeavour to get maximum listener appeal into the programmes.
