Elderly Woman Killed By Car
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 14. 'A woman who was knocked down by a car-at the corner of Khyber Pass road and Auburn road at 2 p.m. today died later in the Auckland Hospital She was Mrs Bessie Mildred James, aged 85, of 4 Parkfield terrace, Grafton.
