Motels Refused In Bowenvale
An application to build motels in Bowenvale was rejected by the Heathcote County Council. An objection to the proposal was received from 13 ratepayers. Cashmere riding members who inspected the area did not favour the application, said the chairman (Mr R. A. Young). That opinion had been reached before the residents’ objection was received. The area was back land, with houses close by on three sides.
