Short (Waikato) over for a fall. Roberts won by a fall. The referee is Mr S. Todd, of Christchurch. The wrestlers fight on a 36ft square canvas, with no ropes, and according to international rules. Each bout lasts 12 minutes unless a fall is gained, when the match ends.
