M.C.C. Team's Averages
rpHERE were some impressive performances during the
recent English cricket season by the players chosen by the M.C.C. to tour New Zealand in the coming summer. Seven players in the side had aggregates exceeding 1000 runs and the most successful of them, W. J. Stewart, of Warwickshire, was eighth in the general averages for toe English season.
The young pace bowler, J. D. F. Larter, did not play many matches, but he finished fifth in the bowling figures. The season’s results for the players who will tour were:—
