(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 28. Two Bay of Plenty forwards, H. Parkinson and R. Schuster were ordered off in the Bay of PlentyThames Valley Rug. v ma ten nt Waihi on Saturday. Thames Valley won, 20-13, to break the Bay’s run of victories. •
Parkinson, a Maori All Black, was ordered off by the referee (Mr C. Dwight) for fighting and Schuster for arguing with the referee. Thames Valley owed its victory to the centre, M. Jacomb, who kicked five penalty goals before he was hurt shortly before half-time. Thames Valley was awarded 18 penalties to the Bay’s three. For Thames Valley besides Jacomb’s goals. R. Kerby scored a try, which was converted by T. Shaw. Parkinson, D. T. Bradburn and M. Doherty scored for the Bay, Doherty and B. Tregurtha converting one each.
