National Candidate For Mornington
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 2. A Dunedin businessman, Mr G. R. Thorn, was tonight selected as the National Party candidate for the Mornington electorate at the Genera] Election. Aged 53, Mr Thorn is assistant manager of the 1960 Olympic Games team and he leaves the city for Rome on Friday.
