Injured Playing Basketball
(New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NTH., July 31. Stanley Laird, the captain of the Wanganui B grade indoor basketball team, suffered spinal injuries when he fell during the North Island championships at Feilding on Saturday. He was admitted to Palmerston North Hospital. His condition is reported as satisfactory.
