TE AWAMUTU, July 31. The Taumarunui Racing Club’s annual meeting was held on a heavy course in showery weather. The form of Nulli Secundus in the Taumarunui Cup stamped him as a good class rising four-year-old which should figure prominently in open handicaps in the new season. This was his second open class win in two weeks. The totalisator handled £63,389 10s, compared with £57,450 last year.
