SATURDAY (Before Messrs R. J. Eyre and J. G. Johnston, Justices of the Peace) REMANDED
Harold John Beams, aged 19, a workman (Mr H. S. Thomas), and Neil Robert Farrar, aged 20, a welder, were remanded to August 4 on a joint charge of converting a car, valued at £7OO, the property of Maude Ellen Briggs. They were arrested at 4.15 a.m. on Saturday. Bail was granted at £lOO, with one surety of £lOO. Frank Sileki, aged 34, a workman, was remanded to August 4 on a charge of being unlawfully on the premises of the Manchester Private Hotel on July 29. Bail was granted at £lOO, with one surety of £lOO.
