Nairobi Prepares.— Extension of Nairobi’s water supply to meet the needs of an estimated population of 510.000 in 1957—an increase of 230.000—wi1l cost the Nairobi City Council about £9.500.000 It is estimated that in 15 years the daily comsumption of water in the city will - have risen to 25,500,000 gallons as against the present 9,800,000.
