TV SETS TAKEN FROM CELLS
“Get Tough” Policy For Convicts (N.Z. Press Association—Copt/right) NASHVILLE (Tennessee), July 27. Governor Buford Ellington, of Tennessee, today ordered a “get tough” policy toward convicts at the State’s trouble-torn prison. “We are going to start running a prison instead of letting the prisoners run us,” Governor Ellington announced. Two truck loads of television sets were taken from cells inside the prison last night, he said. He ordered a new security code calling for the removal of “luxury” items from cell blocks and a tightening of prison rules.
