Geelong Firm’s Plans (NJL Press Aseoctatwn—CopvripM) MELBOURNE. July 28. A Victorian frozen foods firm, Sunkist Frozen Food Organisation. of Geelong. 45 miles from Melbourne, is Importing 700 tons of frozen peas from America because local production is far short of demand. The chairman. Mr Frank James, revealed this when he arrived in Melbourne today from a business trip to the United States. Mr James said the first 200 tons of the imported peas would arrive in Melbourne next, month. “We estimate that we will process 6,000,0001 b of western district grown peas in the next years.” he said, “but that will be insufficient for the demand and while I was in America I arranged for the imports.” Mr James said other Australian firms were also attempting to buy
