Mt. Gerrard Property Sold

A fattening, grazing, and cropping farm of 403 acres, held on lease in perpetuity and renewable leasehold at Mount Gerrard, Cheviot, was offered for sale at public auction yesterday. The bidding started at £16,000 and rose in two bids of £lOOO to £lB,OOO. It then rose in £5OO blds to £20,000 and in £250 bids to £22,000 when it was sold.
