Scout Awards Announced
The Dominion headquarters of the Boy Scouts’ Association reports that the Governor-General, as Dominion Chief Scout, has approved the following awards to members of the movement:— Medal •of Merit: P. J. Brook (Christchurch), R. Glasson (Dunedin), G. A. Hancox (Kaikohe). Certificate of Merit: Mrs S. J, Harrison (Wellington), W. A. Penrose (Dunedin), R. N. Stanley (Greymouth), E. F. W. Sumner (Wellington). In addition to these awards the Dominion Chief . Commissioner (Major-General L. K. Lockhart) has approved the award of Letters of Commendation to the following: T. Hill (Dunedin), in recognition of his good services; P. Binsted (Wellington), in recognition of his prompt action and initiative when an electric stove caught fire. •
